If you’ve always wanted to make a gammon for Christmas but never felt ready, now’s your chance, because this cherry and brandy glazed smoked gammon is as easy to make as it is delicious. Beechwood smoked gammon with cherry and brandy glaze INGREDIENTS: 1 Woolworths beechwood smoked gammon 2 tbsp olive oil Sea salt for seasoning 100g Woolworths cherry and brandy Christmas glaze Red apples , to roast Fresh orange juice and butter, to roast with the apples COOKING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Preheat the oven at 180°C. Remove all packaging, place the ham on a baking sheet and rub it with olive oil and sea salt. Cover with foil and roast for 40-50 minutes. 2. Remove foil, carefully peel off crust and discard. Score the fat with a sharp knife and glaze generously with Woolworths Christmas Brandy Cherry Glaze to coat. Add the red apples to the tray, with knobs of butter and a drizzle of orange juice. Roast for another 20 minutes until caramelized and delicious. Crispy Sage Butter Potatoes INGREDIENTS Woolworths Everyday Potatoes 2kg, thinly sliced lengthwise Sea salt, to taste Salted butter 200g, melted 2 tbsp olive oil Fresh sage, 10 sheets COOKING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Arrange the potatoes on their sides in rows facing upwards and tuck them in tightly. 2. Pour over the melted butter seasoned with salt and sage and drizzle with olive oil to prevent the butter from burning. Roast for 60 to 90 minutes, basting with butter occasionally to achieve an even crisp. 3. Once golden and crisp, remove from the oven and serve with fresh Woolworths Italian Leaf Salad tossed with lemon juice and olive oil.
