No-Chill Linzer Cookies | Easy Cut-Out Christmas Cookie Recipe | The Floral Apron
These crispy, buttered and slightly spicy linzer cookies are about to be your new favorite Christmas cookie! You can fill them with jam, jelly, curd or propagation that you like to make them yourself. (I recommend pomegranate jelly and cookie butter for a non -traditional PB & J torsion.) And although these cookies deserve a first place place due to the flavor alone, they are still improved with a Linzer cookie paste without chill that is easy to work! The key lies in the reverse cream method, which covers each particle of fatty flour to prevent the development of gluten. This and cold butter help prevent your dough from becoming too sticky for a long time. This quickly became my favorite new method to make cutting cookies. And I think it will be yours too, once you have rolled this dough yourself!
