Do you have food for essential nostalgic children? This food that you would always eat even after a serious food strike? The one that your parents would give in just so that they are sure that you would not die from the lack of calories, forget nutrition? For me, it was plain white rice. No soy sauce, no seasoning, nothing other than a delicious ordinary white rice.
For my best childhood, it was buttered noodles. Whenever we had a game meeting, that’s what her mother would do with us because it was literally the only thing she would eat. After my very first bowl, I was addicted. What should not love in a bowl of butter carbohydrates, made with love?
How to make buttered noodles

- 6 ounces choice pasta I used Bucatini
- 5 tablespoon butter split
- 4 pods garlic crushed or chopped
- 1/2 cup Finely grated parmesan
- Freshly ground salt and black pepper with taste

Wear a large pot of salt water to a boil and cook the pasta 2 minutes shy of al dente. Reserve 3/4 cups of pasta water and drainage.

During the cooking of the pasta, melt the 4 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook, swirl, until the foam butter, smells the hazelnut and toasted, there are solid golden brown and the garlic is slightly golden. Remove from heat and incorporate the last tablespoon of butter.

Add 1/2 cup of melted pasta water care carefully – and bring to a boil over high heat, whisking or whirling often to emulsify the water and the butter of the pasta, about 1 minute.
